| GRUPO ALUGOM: The forefront and leadership.
The GRUPO ALUGOM focuses its activities on the process of aluminium manufacture covering production to distribution, through all intermediate processes such as surface treatment, mechanization and assembly. In order to develop these activities, the GRUPO ALUGOM has various companies at its disposal, which are distributed through the entire Spanish territory and specialized in each stage of the process.
Consolidation of the Company
The GRUPO ALUGOM??s activities began at the end of the 60??s as a modest aluminium carpentry company that became consolidated at the beginning of the 80??s with the opening of the first warehouse for retail trade supply and a carpentry workshop for manufacturing on major scale.
In 1985 LACADO Y ANODIZADO DEL ALUMINIO SA (LANOAL) was formed, the first powder coating plant based in the centre of the country and the first that was dedicated to the totally innovative system. After two years Aluminios Villaviciosa SA was founded, and with it, the GRUPO ALUGOM expanded its activities to the extrusion field with the aim of improving the quality and service for the customer. Furthermore, in 1992 Coteval SA, a highly ranked extrusion company was acquired by the group, thus creating AV COTEVAL SA, which quickly made a place for itself amongst the biggest extrusion suppliers in the country.
Large industrial complex.
Since the GRUPO ALUGOM??s creation, it has continuously invested in its industrial and commercial facilities.
With more than 50.000m2 designated to manufacture, distribution and storage, GRUPO ALUGOM assures maximum quality standards for all of the processes in which it is involved.
Extrusion
AV COTEVAL SA has the most advanced means for manufacturing aluminium products using the process of extrusion. It has three presses with hydraulic power of 1.600 tonnes, 2.200 tonnes and 2.800 tonnes, obtaining an annual production capacity of 25.000 tonnes.
Coating and Anodizing
LACADO Y ANODIZADO DEL ALUMINIO S.A. (LANOAL) has both a horizontal coating and carrousel plant, as well as a line of vertical coating of the latest generation, composed of two cabins of powder applications.
GRUPO ALUGOM also has an innovative anodizing plant, with a capacity of 15 tons per day, using an electric current of 36.000 Amperes.

Within the great versatility offered by the GRUPO ALUGOM regarding constructions of any aluminium closures, the company proposes a wide range of solutions to any kind of issues pertaining to metal closure systems. Sliding carpentry, casement systems, curtain walls, conservatories, folding screen systems, Majorcan blinds, industrial gates and all different kind of products covering a wide range from traditional construction to the latest innovations without forgetting the thermal break series.
