The Mycenter-HX400iSII is an HMC equipped with a 13-kw AC motor, hardened box ways, 40-taper spindle and a standard fourth-axis rotary table for both multi-part tombstone fixturing and complex multi-angle large part machining. Technicians hand scrape all contact surfaces to ensure accuracy, long-term reliability and peak performance, the company says, adding that it does not need to use electronic compensation when manufacturing to adjust squareness, parallelism or perpendicularity.
The HMC has a 20,000-rpm, four-step, gear-driven, dual-contact spindle. The fourth-axis rotary table is designed with a direct-drive motor with speeds of 125 rpm and positioning accuracy of ±2.5 arcseconds. The machine accepts a maximum workpiece size of 24.80" × 29.33" and table load capacity of 770 lbs.
Options include tool magazines that hold as many as 290 tools and pallet shuttle systems that accommodate as many as 21 pallets. A fifth-axis retrofit is also available.
